Trista Olivas has been working with children for nearly 15 years. She holds a BFA in Acting from California State University of Fullerton, with additional study in musical theatre and voice at San Diego SU and California Institute of the Arts. She loves performing for and working with children. It is one of her greatest passions in life! She worked at Riverside Children’s Theatre for five years where she taught acting classes from pre-K to 8th grade. She has also taught music at Gymboree, Rockin' Railroad, Stomp and Shout and currently performs Sunny Songsters around NYC! While attending San Diego State University, Trista wrote a musical with her classmates that toured elementary and junior high schools in and around San Diego County. She has appeared on many stages throughout Southern California.

Meet Our Teachers
Stoddard Blackall
Music Teacher
Stoddard Blackall is a pianist/singer/comedian with a degree in Songwriting from Berklee College of Music, and graduate of the Lehman Engel Musical Theater Workshop as a composer. Stoddard is a music director with Brooklyn Acting Lab, an entertainer at The Duplex and Brandy's Piano Bar, and musical improv accompanist for The People's Improv Theater, The Magnet, and award winning comedy show, Broadway's Next Hit Musical. His comedy act, James and Then Also Stoddy Too is appearing in the 2017 New York Musical Improv Festival, and one-man improvised musical, Stoddy Story, can be seen in Manhattan and abroad. Be on the lookout for his upcoming song cycle on love and OCD, Hiccups, and debut album with his band.
